<p><strong>Work Arrangement</strong></p> <p>This is an onsite position with potential CONUS and OCONUS travel.</p> <p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p> <p>The A&amp;P Mechanic performs maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft and related systems. Inspects&nbsp;aircraft components to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Troubleshoots&nbsp;mechanical and avionics issues, replaces or repairs defective parts, and conducts routine preventive&nbsp;maintenance. Works under general supervision and may mentor junior mechanics.</p> <p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Completes aircraft and engine maintenance as required</li> <li>Follows established and normal aviation safety procedures and processes</li> <li>Maintains complete and accurate maintenance records</li> <li>Conducts scheduled inspections and completes follow-up as required</li> <li>Inspects engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, brakes, valves, pumps, air conditioning systems and other aircraft related systems</li> <li>Completes necessary maintenance and repairs (replacements) on the aircraft, its subsystems,&nbsp;and components</li> <li>Repairs sheet metal or composite surfaces and assemblies</li> <li>Checks for and corrects corrosion, distortion, and cracks in the fuselage, wings, and tail and other&nbsp;sub-assemblies IAW with applicable instructions and directives</li> <li>Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all AEVEX Aerospace Policies, Procedures, and&nbsp;Compliance regulations (internal and external)</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Standard Essential Functions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].</li> <li>Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business&nbsp;associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies&nbsp;and practices.</li> <li>Embodies AEVEX’s cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company&nbsp;culture.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>C-146A Wolfhound is the aircraft</li> <li>Must be able to pass a medical/dental physical for deployments</li> <li>Ability to work in a team environment</li> <li>Ability to read engineering drawings</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education / Certifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma</li> <li>Must have A&amp;P license</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>3-8 years of aircraft Maintenance experience.</li> <li>Experience working on C-146A Wolfhound aircraft</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to&nbsp;successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
