<p><strong>Work Arrangement</strong></p> <p>This is an onsite position.</p> <p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p> <p>The Material Planning Manager is responsible for leading material planning activities to ensure&nbsp;uninterrupted production and on-time customer delivery. This role oversees demand planning alignment,&nbsp;material availability, and inventory optimization while driving continuous improvement across planning&nbsp;processes and systems. The Material Planning Manager partners closely with Manufacturing,&nbsp;Procurement, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management to balance cost, service, and operational&nbsp;efficiency.</p> <p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute material plans to support production schedules, customer demand, and&nbsp;business objectives.</li> <li>Ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and subassemblies to support&nbsp;manufacturing and program requirements.</li> <li>Monitor and optimize inventory levels to balance service levels, cash flow, and storage&nbsp;constraints.</li> <li>Establish and maintain safety stock policies and planning parameters.</li> <li>Translate production schedules and forecasts into accurate material requirements using&nbsp;MRP/ERP systems.</li> <li>Identify and mitigate material constraints, shortages, and risks to production continuity.</li> <li>Partner with Procurement and Material Program Managers to manage lead times, capacity&nbsp;constraints, and material availability.</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Finance to resolve material&nbsp;issues and support program execution.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning accuracy, efficiency, and&nbsp;visibility.</li> <li>Support ERP/MRP system enhancements, data accuracy initiatives, and planning tool&nbsp;implementations.</li> <li>Prepare and present material planning metrics, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.</li> <li>Analyze trends and root causes related to inventory performance and material shortages.</li> <li>Support financial planning and budgeting activities related to inventory and material spend.</li> <li>Perform other duties as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Standard Essential Functions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].</li> <li>Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business&nbsp;associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies&nbsp;and practices.</li> <li>Embodies AEVEX’s cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company&nbsp;culture.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Competencies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft&nbsp;Dynamics).</li> <li>Experience in a manufacturing or regulated production environment.</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li> <li>Strong background in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education / Certifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related&nbsp;field.</li> <li>Master’s degree or professional certification (CPIM, CSCP, PMP) preferred</li> </ul> <p><st
