<p>The <strong>Senior Finance Manager, Cost and Inventory</strong> will lead our cost accounting and inventory management functions. As a critical leader in our manufacturing operations, you will ensure end-to-end inventory accuracy, robust product costing, and strict compliance with financial regulations. Utilizing Infor LN, you will streamline manufacturing accounting, reconcile production variances, and drive cross functional profitability.</p> <p><strong><u>Essential Functions </u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Cost Accounting &amp; Margin Analysis</li> <li>Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to cost accounting and inventory valuation.</li> <li>Oversee standard costing, job-costing, and the development of labor and overhead rates across complex manufacturing programs.</li> <li>Perform deep-dive profitability, variance, and margin analysis by product line, contract, and business unit.</li> <li>Ensure all accounting and estimating processes are fully compliant with DCAA, FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations as applicable to our industry.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Inventory Management &amp; Control </u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Govern inventory accounting for raw materials, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and finished goods.</li> <li>Design and enforce cycle count programs, physical inventory procedures, and ongoing reconciliation.</li> <li>Manage inventory pegging, material traceability, and Customer Furnished Material (CFM) tracking unique to A&amp;D contracts within Infor LN.</li> <li>Monitor excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory, establishing appropriate reserves and mitigation strategies.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Infor LN ERP System Leadership </u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Costing, Warehousing, and Manufacturing modules within Infor LN.</li> <li>Ensure seamless synchronization between Inventory Control, Shop Floor Management, and the General Ledger.</li> <li>Drive continuous system improvements, data governance, and process automation within Infor LN to minimize manual reconciliations.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Leadership &amp; Compliance </u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Build, mentor, and lead a team of cost accountants and inventory control specialists.</li> <li>Establish, monitor, and report out on key performance indicators (KPIs) regarding inventory accuracy and cost of goods sold (COGS).</li> <li>Enforce and maintain strict internal controls, ensuring 100% SOX compliance and smooth audit support.</li> <li>Perform other duties as required.</li> <li>Standard Essential Functions</li> <li>Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].</li> <li>Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.</li> <li>Embodies AEVEX’s cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Qualifications and Competencies </u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Security Clearance-Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel</li> <li>Strong understanding of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)</li> <li>Excellent cross-functional leadership capabilities</li> <li>Excellent leadership skills with proven a
