This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and great benefits. Calibration Technician - Level0/Level I/Level II/Level III will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of test and measurement instruments. This critical equipment is maintained and periodically calibrated for accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established industry and customer standards. As a calibration technician, you will be relied upon by both our customers and your colleagues within an environment that values professional development opportunities.</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> On-site at various customer sites in <span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Huntersville, NC</span> and surrounding areas. Occasionally at our office in <span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Huntersville, NC</span>.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>The Calibration Technician - Level I/Level II/Level III will primarily be responsible for the calibration of electronic and mechanical test equipment, at our customers’ facilities. This job requires travel. Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Plan the sequence of testing and calibration procedures.</li> <li>Calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot problems with customers’ equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pressure, torque, environmental, dimensional, and radio frequency instrumentation.</li> <li>Create, update, and maintain data sheets for test equipment.</li> <li>Maintain customer, vendor, and equipment databases.</li> <li>Manage customer relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive the timely turnaround of equipment.</li> </ul> </section> <section class="styles--3vx-H" data-ui="job-requirements"> <p><strong>Education, Experience & Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Level II and above: at least two years of experience in a related field required. Electronics technician experience strongly preferred. Electrical, electronic, or mechanical calibration experience as well as military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training preferred.</li> <li>Level II and above: technical knowledge of electronic principles. Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment is preferred.</li> <li>Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations throughout the United States for up to one week at a time.</li> <li>An entrepreneurial attitude and desire to grow within an organization.</li> <li>Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background security check.</li> <li>Ability and <span class="markem0p0y4zz" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">w</span>illingness to travel to customer locations <span class="markem0p0y4zz" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">w</span>ith frequent overnight, out-of-state travel, Monday through Friday, up to 80% of the year.
