Calibration Technician - Field (In-Cal)

<p>The Field Calibration Technician will provide immediate support for electronic, mechanical and process calibration services in accordance with established procedures and standards.</p> <p>This position will typically operate independently, applying job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a wide range of difficult tasks. This includes assignments that are moderately complex in nature where good judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. The Field Calibration Technician will abide by good housekeeping practices and will perform some administrative duties.</p> <p>The ideal applicant will be self-motivated, highly organized, possess a strong commitment to customer service and excel in a team-orientated environment. Calibrations will primarily be performed at our customer facilities (some overnight travel is required) with some work in our own environmentally controlled labs (Hudson, NH).</p> <h3><strong>Pay, Hours &amp; Overtime:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>$28–$38/hour</strong></li> <li>Typical weekly hours average <strong>42–50 hours</strong>, based on customer schedules and workload</li> <li><strong>Overtime paid at 1.5x</strong> for eligible hours</li> <li><strong>Drive time is paid</strong> at your regular hourly rate</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Travel &amp; Driving Details:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Most work is local:</strong> ~<strong>80%</strong> of jobs are within a <strong>2-hour radius</strong> of Hudson, NH</li> <li><strong>Overnight travel:</strong> up to <strong>~20%</strong> of jobs may require overnight stays</li> <li>Technicians use their <strong>own vehicle</strong> for field work</li> <li><strong>Mileage reimbursement</strong> provided</li> <li><strong>Per diem</strong> provided for eligible travel/overnights</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Desired Education and Experience:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>0-3 years' experience</li> <li>Strong understanding of statistics</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and organization</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)</li> <li>Strong time management and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Self-motivated ability to learn new skills</li> </ul> <h3><span data-teams="true"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></h3> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Calibration &amp; Measurement</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Calibrate IM&amp;TE in one or more disciplines such as: <strong>Dimensional, Mechanical, DC/Low Frequency, RF/Microwave, Thermodynamics, Time &amp; Frequency, Fluid, Optical, Chemical, Acoustical</strong>, and/or Process</li> <li>Ensure equipment performance meets published specs and internal procedures</li> <li>Identify and resolve <strong>out-of-tolerance</strong> conditions through adjustments, correction factors, component replacement, or other corrective actions</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Troubleshooting &amp; Equipment Support</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of precision equipment</li> <li>Identify and correct measurement errors when they occur</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Documentation &amp; Quality
