<div> <div> <p>ATSNUC, Inc., an Accredited Labs company, is seeking a <strong>Lab Technician</strong> to join our team at our <strong>Manitowoc, WI facility</strong>. This is a <strong>non-travel, lab-based position</strong> focused on the calibration, testing, and maintenance of nuclear measurement instruments, including density gauges and radiation detection equipment.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work in a controlled lab environment and takes pride in precision, quality, and following established standards.</p> <h3><strong>What You’ll Do – Laboratory Calibration</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Perform <strong>in-lab calibration</strong> of nuclear density gauges and Geiger counters</li> <li>Inspect, test, and verify instrument accuracy in accordance with applicable standards</li> <li>Conduct <strong>minor troubleshooting and repairs</strong> on calibration equipment</li> <li>Document calibration results clearly and accurately in alignment with <strong>ISO/IEC 17025</strong> and internal quality requirements</li> <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory workspace</li> <li>Support incoming and outgoing equipment processing, including intake inspection and shipment preparation</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Equipment You’ll Work With</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Nuclear density gauges</li> <li>Geiger counters and radiation detection devices</li> <li>Supporting calibration standards and instrumentation</li> <li>General lab measurement and testing equipment</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Quality & Compliance</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Follow all <strong>radiation safety protocols</strong> and company procedures</li> <li>Ensure calibration processes meet regulatory and quality standards</li> <li>Maintain accurate records for audits and customer reporting</li> <li>Support continuous improvement of lab processes and workflows</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Team & Collaboration</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Work closely with internal lab staff, quality teams, and leadership</li> <li>Communicate findings, discrepancies, and repair needs clearly</li> <li>Contribute to a collaborative, safety-focused lab environment</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Continuous Improvement & Growth</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times</li> <li>Provide feedback to enhance lab processes and customer experience</li> <li>Opportunity to grow into more advanced technical or quality-focused roles as the business expands</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Minimum <strong>1 year of experience</strong> in a technical, mechanical, or laboratory environment</li> <li>Experience with calibration, testing, or instrumentation preferred</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>radiation detection equipment or nuclear gauges</strong> is a plus (training provided if needed)</li> <li>Working knowledge of <strong>ISO/IEC 17025</strong> or other quality systems preferred</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office for documentation</li> <li>Ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently in a lab setting</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why Join ATSNUC?</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Stable, &
