We build solar-powered aircraft that fly at 60,000 ft for weeks at a time, delivering persistent, affordable, and scalable presence from this layer of the atmosphere.</p> <h2 style="color: #0000ee;">Mission</h2> <p>Re-establish and maintain dominance in the Stratosphere.</p> <h2 style="color: #0000ee;">What you’ll do</h2> <p>Own every aspect of Icarus' physical infrastructure. Your job is simple: build and maintain an environment where engineers can focus entirely on building aircraft. You will:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Own our facilities end to end, from daily operations to long-term expansion.</li> <li>Lead factory buildouts, renovations, and infrastructure projects.</li> <li>Design factory layouts that improve engineering and manufacturing velocity.</li> <li>Plan and execute equipment moves, machine installations, and production area expansions.</li> <li>Own utilities including electrical, HVAC, compressed air, networking, and other critical infrastructure.</li> <li>Manage contractors, vendors, construction projects, permits, and inspections.</li> <li>Develop long-term facility roadmaps as the company grows into new buildings and manufacturing capabilities.</li> <li>Own physical security, badge access, maintenance programs, and site reliability.</li> <li>Ensure our facilities are safe, organized, and always ready to support testing and production.</li> <li>Remove every physical bottleneck that slows engineers, technicians, and manufacturing.</li> </ul> <h2 style="color: #0000ee;">What we’re looking for</h2> <ul> <li>Experience leading facilities, factory infrastructure, manufacturing expansion, capital projects, or industrial construction.</li> <li>Experience building or expanding manufacturing facilities from the ground up.</li> <li>Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.</li> <li>Strong understanding of construction, utilities, mechanical systems, and industrial infrastructure.</li> <li>Excellent project management and vendor management skills.</li> <li>Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.</li> <li>Self-directed with extreme ownership.
