Specific eligibility and coverage details will be provided during the hiring process**</em></p></div><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]">Piper Fire Protection's Sarasota, FL branch is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm &amp; Sprinkler Inspector to perform inspections, testing, and routine troubleshooting of fire alarm and water-based fire protection systems. This role supports compliance with NFPA codes, state and local regulations, and internal standards. The Inspector works under the guidance of senior inspectors and supervisors and may assist in training junior team members.</p> <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm and water-based fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA 72, NFPA 25, and all applicable local, state, and federal codes</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Conduct monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and 5-year inspection frequencies on water-based fire protection systems</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Inspect and test fire pumps (Electric &amp; Diesel), comparing results to data plate or acceptance test</li> <li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Perform water flow tests for fire hydrants, including determining flow rates at residual pressure at 20 PSI<
