<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p> <p>The Quality Assurance Technician is the final checkpoint before products leave the facility, responsible for ensuring all products meet rigorous quality standards and specifications. Known for their keen attention to detail and technical expertise, Quality Assurance Technician thoroughly inspect cable and wire products to confirm compliance with engineering requirements and industry standards. They possess a solid understanding of product applications and are proficient in reading and interpreting engineered drawings and blueprints.</p> <p>Key duties include performing detailed inspections, documenting and reporting non-conformances, and ensuring tools like tape measures and calipers are properly calibrated and maintained. Q collaborate closely with production teams to address quality issues promptly, ensuring continuous improvement and operational efficiency. This role requires a solutions-driven team player who actively contributes to maintaining a high-quality manufacturing process. By minimizing defects, reducing waste, and optimizing production flow, the QC Inspector plays a vital role in meeting on-time delivery goals and exceeding customer expectations</p> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Education: </strong></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED equivalent to a high school diploma.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Three years’ experience in aerospace wire harness assembly, fabrication, production, aerospace manufacturing, or a similar field preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of quality assurance processes in a manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Familiarity with ITAR Export Control compliance requirements.</li> <li>Familiarity with IPC 620</li> <li>Familiarity with AS9100D</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manual dexterity and attention to detail.</li> <li>Technical skills in soldering, crimping, and testing equipment.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.</li> <li>Experience with quality data entry and report generation</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Quality Inspection and Documentation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Inspect work-in-process products according to defined procedures.</li> <li>Document product non-conformities and communicate findings to the production team and QA Supervisor.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Quality Improvement Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyze non-conformance issues and perform root cause analysis.</li> <li>Assist in developing and improving quality processes.</li> <li>Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data Management and Reporting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support quality data entry and generate reports as needed.</li> <li>Assist with product release documentation.</li> </ul> <p><em>Other responsibilities, initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.</em><em> </em></p> <p><strong>Internal and External Relationships</strong></p> <ul> <li>Internal: Collaborates with the production team, engineering department, and quality management.</li> <li>External: May interact with external auditors or regulatory bodies to support compliance efforts.</li> </ul> <p> </
