CDL Driver-Hauling Market Hogs

Prestage Farms is looking for a CDL truck driver to safety and efficiently deliver hogs from the farms to the plant. This is a full-time position which consists of Monday through Friday and some weekends. Responsibilities Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Document and log work/rest periods. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. & occasionally up to 100 lbs. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations.
