Summary Health Services Coordinator is responsible for providing occupational health services to all company employees, which includes but is not limited to performing assessments of patient’s condition, determining appropriate course of treatment, and administering basic life support, if needed. In addition to treatment and management of injuries, the Health Services Coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to assist the Health Services Manager with onsite clinic operations. Education, Licensure and Experience Current CNA with Med Aid Certification or Med Aid Certification or MA or LPN license in the state of Nebraska required. Current BLS certification required. High School Diploma or GED required. Experience with Worker’s Compensation preferred. Experience with Americans with Disabilities Act Accommodation (ADA) preferred. Skills with multiple Microsoft applications required. Experience with Acute Health Care preferred. Spanish fluency preferred. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary and appropriate): Ensure quality health and medical care of all Wholestone Farms Employees. Maintain appropriate documentation of patient care, incident reports and other necessary reports. Encourage a safe, pleasant work environment for employees. Responsible for first aid, BP checks, conducting pre-employment drug and urine screens and completion of additional paperwork required. Reviews pre-employment exam documents with Health Services Manager and schedules functional capacity exams if necessary. Assists Health Services Manager with Worker’s Compensation management as necessary. Assist with initiating employee ADA requests. Assists with planning and coordination of Hearing and Pulmonary function testing. Ensures all test results are filed accordingly. Schedules physician exams as needed based on test results. Maintain roster of employees certified to wear a respirator. Plans and coordinates onsite vaccination clinics. Ensures all documentation is filed accordingly as needed. Attends meetings in the absence of the Health Services Manager. Ability to communicate clearly in group and individual settings. Run reports and explain information held in reports clearly. Perform proper procedures in a timely and appropriate manner to prevent further harm to the patient using basic life support. Report verbally and in writing their observations of patients. Assists with maintaining HIPPA, OSHA, Worker’s Compensation, and medical records compliance. Assist with maintaining inventory and ordering medical supplies. Inspects and maintains Automated External Defibrillators for the facility as necessary. Participates as a member of the facility Hazmat Team. Participates as a member of the facility Safety Committee. Partners with Benefits Analyst to encourage Workplace Wellness Plans and coordinates wellness events such as breast cancer awareness, high blood pressure awareness, importance of diet and exercise, blood drives, etc. Other duties as assigned.
