We build fast and iterate quickly.</p> <div><strong>Who We're Looking For</strong><br><br></div> <div>We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist to support and execute configuration control across Quantum Space programs. You will own the day-to-day change control lifecycle — processing changes, managing document release, and maintaining configuration baselines — ensuring traceability, change control, and data integrity as the programs move from development through flight. This role is critical to maintaining mission readiness and program execution velocity.<br><br></div> <div style="text-align: left;"><hr></div> <div style="text-align: left;">&nbsp;</div> <div style="text-align: left;"><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact</strong><br> <ul> <li>Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Change Orders (COs) end-to-end — intake, classification, impact assessment routing, and tracking through approval and release</li> <li>Own release of controlled documents and drawings for flight and ground systems — verifying completeness, correct revision status, and proper markings prior to release</li> <li>Maintain configuration status accounting: baseline records, revision history, and open/closed change status across the configuration item structure</li> <li>Coordinate Interface Control Document (ICD) distribution and change coordination across engineering and program stakeholders</li> <li>Support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) — prepare agendas and change packages, capture minutes, and track action items to closure</li> <li>Administer configuration management workflows in Windchill/PLM tooling, keeping lifecycle states and metadata aligned with the Configuration Management Plan (CMP)</li> <li>Apply correct CUI and export control (ITAR/EAR) markings to controlled technical data in accordance with contract and program requirements</li> <li>Partner closely with systems engineering, I&amp;T, manufacturing, and software teams to keep change processing moving quickly without sacrificing control</li> <li>Support flight readiness reviews, test readiness reviews, and configuration audits with accurate baseline and change records.</li> </ul> </div> <div><hr></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>What It Takes</strong></div> <div> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience</li> <li>3–6 years of experience in configuration management, document control, or engineering data management within aerospace or complex hardware programs</li> <li>Working knowledge of change control processes (ECR/ECN/CO) and configuration status accounting</li> <li>Hands-on experience with a PLM/document control tool (Windchill strongly preferred)</li> <li>Ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of material, and technical baselines</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail and comfort operating within formal, auditable processes</li> <li>Clear written and verbal communication skills, including release notices and status reporting</li> <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance</li> </ul> <hr></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>Nice-to-Have Experience</strong></
