We build fast and iterate quickly.</p> <p><strong>Who We're Looking For</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a technically skilled and hands-on Electrical Engineer II to support the development of specialized spacecraft electronics for next-generation Ranger missions. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, integration, qualification, and flight delivery of high-reliability avionics and spacecraft electronics supporting long-duration, high-mobility space missions.</p> <p>Working closely with systems, mechanical, thermal, RF communications, FPGA, software, and integration engineers, you will help develop flight-ready electronics from early concept through spacecraft integration and launch. This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced development environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges while building hardware that flies.</p> <hr> <p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the development of specialized spacecraft electronics from concept, prototyping, and design through integration, qualification, and flight delivery</li> <li>Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics supporting spacecraft avionics, communications, embedded electronics, and vehicle subsystems</li> <li>Develop schematic capture and multi-layer PCB designs for flight and flight-like hardware</li> <li>Perform hardware bring-up, electrical troubleshooting, validation testing, and anomaly resolution activities</li> <li>Collaborate with systems, RF communications, mechanical, thermal, FPGA, software, and integration teams to deliver fully integrated spacecraft electronics</li> <li>Support hardware integration, verification, and validation during spacecraft assembly, integration, and test (AI&amp;T) campaigns</li> <li>Participate in engineering reviews including System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Test Readiness Review (TRR), and Flight Readiness Review (FRR)</li> <li>Develop and maintain engineering documentation including schematics, interface control documents (ICDs), requirements, verification artifacts, and test procedures</li> <li>Contribute to design trade studies, technical assessments, and multidisciplinary engineering reviews</li> <li>Improve hardware reliability, manufacturability, and mission readiness through continuous engineering improvements</li> <li>Support multiple spacecraft development efforts within a dynamic, fast-paced engineering environment</li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong>What It Takes</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline</li> <li>3+ years of experience developing electronics hardware for aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability applications</li> <li>Experience designing electrical communication interfaces including RS-422, RS-485, CAN, LVDS, I2C, and SPI</li> <li>Strong understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics fundamentals</li> <li>Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and ECAD design tools</li> <li>Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers</li> <li>Experience supporting hardware integration, debugging, validation testing, and root-cause investigations</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot complex
