You will take full ownership of complex hardware projects from concept to production and orbital operation, collaborating closely with leadership and multidisciplinary teams to deliver groundbreaking solutions.</p> <h2>Key Responsibilities:</h2> <ul> <li>Design and Development: <ul> <li>Lead the design and development of high-reliability electronics for space-based data processing centers.</li> <li>Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using advanced ECAD tools.</li> <li>Perform signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis to ensure robust, space-ready designs.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Project Management: <ul> <li>Manage the lifecycle of electrical components from initial concept through manufacturing, testing, and deployment.</li> <li>Develop and refine design criteria, collaborate on system-level requirements, and drive system trades.</li> <li>Ensure timely project delivery with high standards of quality and performance through meticulous project management.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Testing and Validation: <ul> <li>Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate electrical designs under various environmental conditions, including vibration, thermal cycling, and radiation.</li> <li>Utilize DOE (Design of Experiments) and SPC (Statistical Process Control) methodologies to analyze test data and inform design improvements.</li> <li>Conduct rigorous environmental and performance testing to validate analyses and ensure compliance with design criteria.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Production and Integration: <ul> <li>Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to establish efficient production processes for space-qualified hardware.</li> <li>Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and reliability, ensuring seamless integration into the overall system architecture.</li> <li>Engage with vendors to ensure high-quality delivery and integration of electrical components.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h2>Basic Qualifications:</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>Proficiency with ECAD software (e.g., Mentor Graphics, Altium Designer).</li> <li>Experience with PCB design, layout, and troubleshooting.</li> <li>Minimum of 1+ years of experience in electrical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing.</li> <li>Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management principles</li> </ul> <h2>Preferred Qualifications:</h2> <ul> <li>Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.</li> <li>3+ years of professional experience in electrical design and analysis, particularly in aerospace, space, or data processing industries.</li> <li>Expertise in high-speed digital, RF, and power electronics.</li> <li>Proficiency in programming languages
