You will directly support propulsion, fluids, mechanical, and environmental test operations by developing safety procedures, conducting hazard analyses, overseeing hazardous material handling operations, and implementing hardware and personnel safety controls. In this role, you will perform safety reviews and test readiness assessments, develop and enforce safe work procedures for high-energy and hazardous material operations, lead incident investigations and corrective actions, interface with regulatory agencies and range safety authorities, and serve as the on-site safety authority during hazardous test operations.
